CRSI Standards Documents

The American National Standards Institute (ANSI) has approved the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute (CRSI) as a Standards Development Organization (SDO). The scope of CRSI’s standards activities includes the development and maintenance of consensus standards for design, detailing, fabrication, placement, and construction of assemblies consisting of steel reinforcement and associated products used in concrete and masonry construction.

Epoxy Bar Certification Programs

 

Plant Certification

Since 1991, the Concrete Reinforcing Steel Institute has provided a plant certification program for epoxy-coated reinforcing bars. The program continues to develop as new information is obtained on methods to improve the performance of epoxy-coated reinforcing steel.

Fabricator Certification


This program was launched in 2013 and is quickly gaining acceptance within the industry. The program continues to develop as new information is obtained on methods to improve the performance of epoxy-coated reinforcing steel.
